App function is to calculate the percentage lift (response rate) for marketing campaigns and compare them to industry averages

Developed user stories and designed screen wireframes through Lean UX process

Guthy-Renker-Shop.com Shopping Cart

ROLE // User Experience Designer, Application and Front-end Development Director

Seeing an opportunity to improve the client’s conversion rate on direct marketing, the strategy behind this application was to change the catch-all shopping cart experience the client had to one that maintained a campaign’s visual continuity from the marketing piece to the shopping cart.

Designed standardized skinnable form flow that would exist in each cart instance.

Directed development of Rails application through two phases from initial development of Flash front-end to later full Rails functionality with additional administration capability.

Developed reusable front-end skin template system.

Proposed screens for a set of information tools that allows a cable customer to estimate and view their internet bandwidth usage.

Worked with Client, Account and Creative Director to gather marketing and technical requirements needed to propose a solution that met marketing and support objectives.

NNJN : Nice New Jersey News

ROLE // Creative Director, Development Director, Video Editor, Animator

Virally-minded site, parodying a news website, for a car insurance client that promoted “nice” driving

Users could personalize the home page video with a friend’s name to jokingly implicate the friend for “not nice” driving in the context of a news story

The ability to fill out a parking ticket with a friend’s name was also available as an offline viral channel

Worked with UX designer, Creative Director and Client in the art direction, functionality  and design of the 2.0 version of the client’s main website.

Images show the home page of the site in a before (1.0) and after (2.0) state.

Developed all front-end HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as a dynamic Flash page shell system and that utilized XML and reusable templates to display main page content throughout the acquisition portion of the site.

Site is now in version 3.0 and no longer available in current state, but the development site environment is available to explore below:
